- July 12, 2010 - Aurora, OR
Golf season is upon us! The annual Oregon Restaurant Association PAC Open is just around the corner. Dust off your golf shoes, clean out the garage and find those clubs! We’d love for you and three of your closest friends to join us on Monday, July 12th at Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora. The tournament is a four person shotgun scramble, and we’ve got a great day planned for you. Tee time is 7:45 and the cost is $175 per person, $700 per foursome.

April 18-19, 2010 - Washington State Convention & Trade Center, Seattle, WA
The 2010 NW Foodservice Show was a tremendous success! Featuring nearly 400 vendor booths, close to 6,000 foodservice professionals were on hand to see what was hot and new on the market, attendee free industry educational events, and to network with their peers.
It's not too early to reserve booth space for the next Northwest Foodservice Show, April 3-4, 2011 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. Former exhibitors from the 2009 Portland show may reclaim their space through July 31st. Requests for booth relocations will be prioritized based on past show participation and the date upon which your booth space application is received. Exhibitors new to the show are also encouraged to reserve booth space now for booth space that is unreclaimed or otherwise requested as relocations by former exhibitors by July 31. Available space will be allocated to all new exhibitors prioritized by the date upon which your booth space application (complete with deposit) is received.
After July 31, all booth space, for former and new exhibitors, will be made available on a first come – first reserved basis.

April 1, 2010 - Hilton Hotel, Portland
Annual Political Action Committee Auction and Dinner
Nearly 300 industry elite attended the 2010 One Big Night PAC Auction & Dinner on April 1st at the Hilton Hotel downtown Portland. This year’s event was a huge success, bidders walked away with exciting golf, travel and dining packages with all donations going towards ORPAC's mission to advocate for the hospitality industry in Oregon. With notable guests such as Representative Kevin Cameron and gubernatorial prospect Chris Dudley in attendance it was truly One Big Night in support of Oregon’s hospitality industry.

Student teams from around the state demonstrated their culinary talent and style at the Oregon Restaurant Association’s 2010 ProStart Culinary Championships, presented by long time sponsor Boyd Coffee Company.

November 1-2, 2009 - Cannon Beach, OR
The annual Chairman's Ocean Getaway was held Nov. 1-2, 2009 in the picturesque coastal town of Cannon Beach. More than 70 people joined ORA Board Chairman Bob Jensen for the once-a-year event, which included an overnight stay and spectacular reception and dinner to remember.

This year ORA brought together in one place the elite of Oregon’s hospitality industry to share knowledge of new strategies for their businesses' profitability.
Industry members attended the 2009 ORA Convention and made new contacts to stay competitive. Attendees also brought members of their management staff and received a discount on registration - they also learned and built their industry relationships while having fun together in this year’s interactive workshops, Molecular Science in the Kitchen and Urban Mixology. Attendees also found out how to Create Customers for Life from top-performing business leaders, and learned how to Maximize your “Social Network” and increase your businesses' efficiency without spending a dime! Attendees also celebrated the synergy of our industry with Oregon’s finest as part of the annual industry Awards of Recognition, featuring some of Oregon’s finest craft spirits, craft beers and local wines in addition to acknowledging this year’s Restaurateur of the Year, Vendor of the Year, Industry Achievement and Community Service award winners..
